Sleep Disorders and treatments: Sleep disorders are the problems with the time, amount and quality of sleep. Sleep disorders are the causes of medical and mental health conditions.

Like as, depression, anxiety or cognitive disorder.

Around 50% of adults facing insomnia and one in 10 suffers from chronic insomnia. It can be occur by itself and could be long term.

What is sleep apnea?

This is a serious sleep disorder that occurs when, a person’s breathing interrupts during sleep.

There are 2 types of sleep apnea.

  1. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)
  2. Central sleep apnea (CSA)

What is restless legs syndrome?

RLS is the intense disorder which urges irresistible movement of legs. RLS typically occurs at evening.

To avoid this sensation, people use to walk and shake their legs for relief.

What is narcolepsy?

It is a neurological disorder of sleep regulation which effects the control of sleep and wakefulness.

Such people experience excessive day time sleep. Sudden sleep attacks can occur at any time. Such people experience muscle weakness with laughter and emotions.

It usually begins at the age of 15-25 and it can be apparent at any age. In many cases narcolepsy are untreated.
